Sunday 5th; Carlanstown x-country (3km N of Kells on N52)
Separate fledgling enclosed course (optional lead rein),prizes sponsored by Horseware Ireland.
Minimus registration 9am at x-country course for 10am start.
Fledgling start 12 midday.
Minimus competition will be followed by U12 and Junior hunter trial competition, see separate flyer.
Monday 6th; Kells Swimming Pool-Fledgling & Minimus- 10am check-in. Run after swim at Headfort School Kells.
Junior & Senior registration 9:30am Gaa Hall Kells. Shoot followed by swim at Kells Pool, run at Headfort School.
Refreshments and Prize giving for all competitions at Headfort School.

Hi folks,
On behalf of the Donegal TREC group I would like to invite your club to participate in a one day TREC competition on Sunday the 5th of May. We have chosen the stunning venue of the Kinnegar Shore, Rathmullan, Co. Donegal for our 2013 TREC competition. The weekend will consist of a welcome evening on Saturday 4th May, followed by competition on the Sunday. The competition will consist of three phases; POR (Orienteering), CoP (Control of Paces) and PTV (Obstacle Course).
The level one class is designed to cater for those trying the sport for the first time. If you would like to travel the day before the competition, the event site will be open for competitor arrivals from 2pm.

Class 6: Team Competition –any 3 or 4 riders across all levels and groups. Please enter by 8pm on Saturday 4th May entry is €5 per rider (in addition to entry fee).

Rookie Award - for the highest scoring competitor competing in their first full competition.
Leading Rider - Awarded to the rider with the highest overall individual score
Leading junior - Awarded to the highest scoring rider aged 12 – 16
Leading rider living outside Co. Donegal

IMPORTANT Please remember that it is important to keep your pony/horse fully
vaccinated (a) to stop the spread of Influenza amont other ponies/horses (b) you will not be allowed to enter some camps, competitions without them.
1st Vaccination
2nd Vaccination 21days (3 Weeks) to 92 days (13 weeks) later.
3rd Vaccination 150 days (5 months) to 215 days (7 months) after 2nd Vaccination.
THEREAFTER, AN ANNUAL VACCINATION (WITHIN THE YEAR) IS REQUIRED.
Pony/horse must be 5 years and older to compete in pony club competitions.

Niamh Foley was Monaghan's sole representative at the International Pony Club's tetrathalon competition held in Mallow, Co. Cork in August 2008. Well done Niamh.
